of Hadrian, is an important
historical monument
in Rome which was built
during the 1st century
AD by the Roman emperor
Hadrian as a mausoleum
for himself and his
family. Built on the
right bank of the Tiber,
the Castel Sant 'Angelo
is located in the Rione
of Borgo and which has
been in existence for
more than a thousand
years as a fortress
and castle. Today, however,
the building is a museum
that houses many relics
of ancient Rome.
